First of all thank you for all the love and support from my family and friends on starting my studio! (peek the gorgeous flowers!!) You guys know how to make a girl feel special! For this week blog post I will be sharing where I got my studio decor. I wanted my studio to reflect my home office using the same tones and feel; gray with blush pink and touches of copper/rose gold with white marble, channeling a neutral glam chic. (if that makes sense)
For anyone that knows me, knows that I LOVE to hunt for styles and deals! I rarely pay full price for decor. I call my interior decorating Pottery Barn-ish on a budget. I like to draw my inspiration and ideas from magazines and Pinterest etc, then I hunt for the perfect item! The studio took my husband and I five days to put together, however I am still looking for more wall art. Hunting for the items and going to different stores is part of the fun for me. Every store has some unique finds. I love shopping at the following places for decor.
- T.J. Maxx Homegoods (I hit up ALL of them)
- Wal-Mart (shocker?)
Here is the breakdown and approx cost of everything:
The tufted gray chair (found it on on sale for $60.00)
Decorative Pillow & Embroidered by my husband ($9.99)
Mirror (On sale for $70)
Copper Decorative Glassware (on sale for $10 and $12)
Amethyst Rock ($14.99)
Square Faux Flower Vase ($14.99)
Dusty Pink Plush Blankets & Embroidered by my husband ($19.99)
Gray Table Runner ($16.99)
- 2 Faux Plants behind the mirror ($1.99 each)
- Turquoise Vase ($7.99)
- Top white wall shelve ($6.99)
- Pink Decorative Towels ($9.00)
- Sea Urchin looking art ($14.99)
- White Console Table ($69.99)
- Large White Wall Shelve ($24.99)
- Metal Wall Art ($55.00)
- All Frames ($12.99 x 3 and $17.99 for the gold frame)
- Basket ($24.99)
- Rose Gold Metal Baskets ($2.48 x 4)
Feel free to ask any additional questions on items I may have not mention. Let me know where you typically like to shop for home decor!
Also my online booking is now LIVE! USE CODE: GrandOpen for a discount on services done at the studio until the end of the month!
Again, thank you for all the love!! I am in love with this studio and it is my happy place! I hope I inspire you to do things outside of your comfort zone. Anything is possible when you put fear of disappointment aside and just go for it! Everything you want is on the other side of fear. Feel the fear and do it anyways!
