I’m turning 36 in a couple of days and as a licensed Esthetician since 2008 skin care treatments has been a organic interest of mine. I am passionate about finding the best and latest technologies to preserve, prevent and treat our skin. PRF is microneedled into the skin for the ultimate skin rejuvenation. PRF uses your own growth factors and stem cells to stimulate your skin. This treatment requires a small blood draw. The blood is then centrifuged to separate the cells and is microneedled into the skin. PRF can also be injected into scarring and fine lines. Research is showing that Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) has a higher concentration of platelets, white blood cells and stem cells that create a fibrin scaffold, where growth factors can be slowly released into the skin over weeks, instead of days with PRP. Several weeks of continued release of growth factors and stem cells into the skin creates superior skin rejuvenation.

This is the good stuff!! Liquid gold! This is my own growth factors that got micro-needled in my skin.

This procedure is done by a medical professional! Like a nurse practitioner. Teresa from Simplicity Aesthetics made me feel at ease and so comfortable! She cleansed and prepped my skin then applied a medical topical lidocaine/tetracaine numbing that sits on the skin for 20 minutes. Honestly, I would be the first to admit that I was nervous and afraid of the pain, but I am telling that topical numbing is amazing and I experienced little to no pain. (I’ve had way more painful dental cleanings LOL)

Baby Room Reveal!

We are finally done (I think) setting up our baby room. I know she has a ton of clothes! thank you for all the gifts from everyone!! This girl is so loved already. I am going to be 38 weeks soon! It is so surreal. I am a ball of mixed emotions. Mostly, excited and nervous but I know its going to be a beautiful thing!

Little by little my husband and I enjoyed putting the room together. He started with the carpet. Ripped that out and installed the dark hardwood like the rest of our home. I am really lucky to have such a handy husband! He has really enjoyed learning woodworking lately. He then put up the board and batten wall, and even build a dresser from scratch! He insisted on making the wooden name sign, which turned out better than I thought! The closet system is from IKEA! its called PAX, loved how they turned out! Lastly, he is working on a small build in book shelf! Instead of cards I asked for books from my shower and I just love that idea!

As far as with the theme of the room I just wanted to keep it simple with the repeated colors like gray, white, and soft pink.
